Faith in God Will Keep You Fueled With Inspiration

Fulfillment can be found in any situation so long as you have a purpose. 

Inspiration vs Motivation

Inspiration and motivation are two completely different concepts and it’s important that we understand why. Inspiration comes from a place of spirituality; it’s a heartfelt manner. Motivation can have spiritual factors, but primarily stems from seeking a reward such as money. For example, I could be inspired to help feed starving children but lose motivation from the charity misusing funds. Inspiration will never go stagnant if you have a strong belief system and faith in a higher being. In my case, I am inspired to help others and express gratitude into the world but I am motivated by knowing that I am doing God’s work. No matter how much money I earn or how good or bad my business works out, I always remain both motivated and inspired because in my heart I know I am working unto the Lord within a command. I passionately believe that we are all here to fundamentally work. I could never pick a purpose that is not godly received and everything I do is to help someone or make the world a better place. This belief system keeps me rolling without ever having a stagnant mindset. 

Inspiration comes from our spirituality and everyone has spiritual gifts that can positively contribute to a good cause. It’s vital to figure out what your purpose and mission are so that you can remain aligned with both inspiration and motivation. (See “Working For Your Life Purpose")


Inspiration at Work

We often perceive work as something purely motivated by reward, in most cases money. However, work is no longer something that requires a reward when we can work with inspiration in our heart and spirit. What inspires you needs to come from a deep, heartfelt, and spiritual place. It must be what you were born here to do. No matter what kind of reward you do or don’t get, as long as you are working for a purpose and a mission higher than anything materialistic, then you will remain in a positive state of mind and heart. 

Instead of perceiving work as something you have to do, think of it as something you want to do. When I was a young adult, I often found myself going in and out of inspiration. I focused on solely motivation and this caused me a great deal of struggle. When I had lots of money, I felt very inspired, but when I had no money I became completely lost. It wasn’t until I found the Lord at age 27 that I became inspired to do the work of God and never found myself at loss for inspiration again.

Inspiration comes from the heart and is fundamental on our belief system. After I became a born again Christian, my purpose became helping others and expressing gratitude. It no longer mattered what the material reward was because in my heart I was fulfilling my devotion to the Lord with my intent. One example that demonstrates inspiration topping all circumstances is a story I tell about a man working in a button factory:

The man sews buttons onto jackets all day long. An outsider might think this is a terribly boring job with no point. But the man is fulfilled because he perceives this job as God’s work and makes it so by saying a prayer unto each button he sews. He prays for the person who wears the jacket to be protected and guided by the Lord. This man places millions of buttons and more significant, millions of prayers. Imagine the amount of power in a prayer and all of the lives that were helped because of this man’s purpose. This is a beautiful example of working unto the Lord.

The Sermon That Inspired Me

I can think of many situations where my own faith in the Lord kept me inspired and moving forward towards my purpose. One that I distinctly remember was in the year 2006 when I was attending a church sermon. The pastor expressed how important it is that we give back. 

I had just started Realty Venture Group, LLC and took on 40k per month in debt. The first year was going great but then we hit a recession in the country and all of my tenants quickly departed. I teetered on bankruptcy and knew by the flick of a pen I could wash it all down the drain and start over. At one point, I felt I could no longer do it and wanted to give up. 

The church sermon kept me going because I knew in my heart that this was what God wanted. He wanted me to help the African American families with their dreams and work together with other races. In the end, I lost 800k. However, with my purpose to give whispering in my ear, I turned the situation around and worked another 5 years working a brutal 80 hours per week. 10 years later and my business was a great success!

This experience gave me faith and inspiration to persevere in the business world. I felt that this was my mission to God and if I hadn’t discovered this purpose, then I wouldn’t have made it. After coming up out of that period of hardship within my business, I continued to find success in other business ventures as well. My inspiration lead to evolution in the business world.  

Evolution of Inspiration

Inspiration plays a prominent role in our existence. If we lack inspiration and faith, then we will complain and continue to make excuses. This unfortunate perspective only takes us down a dark road of self-loathing. True inspiration is a part of the evolution process and it drives us to keep reaching higher and higher. Inspiration is the action and result of faith. If we do not grow and evolve, we can devolve into degenerate thinking which leads to things such as hatred and violence. 

Some people have fear when it comes to faith. Fear is natural and both emotional and instinctual. The most important thing a person can do is “fear not” for the only thing we should fear is fear itself. In the Bible, fear is mentioned 365 times. The challenge we must face in the midst of fear is our ability to find courage. I pray to God to give me courage because I know he will. There is no developmental schooling that can transform you from a coward to a hero. Almost every hero found a core strength in their faith in God. 

Spirituality with Others

One experience that can help give you courage and strengthen your faith is group spirituality. Group spirituality is the notion of brotherhood and gathering together. Examples of this are attending church, group prayers, concerts, and so forth. There is a spiritual aspect to gathering with others and the power is undeniable. Jesus had said:

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them”.

The bible goes on to teach about a gathering of men who all spoke different languages but could understand each other perfectly. There is also an unbelievable amount of study done on this topic. The power of all spirits coming together has a communal effect and you can feel it both emotionally and physically. For me personally, the hairs on my neck and arms stand up and I can feel the energy sweeping through my entire body. One of my favorite songs that I feel has a lot of communal power behind it is Amazing Grace by Rod Stewart.

Get Inspired From a Life Coach

As a life coach, I can tell you many stories to get you inspired and help you strengthen your faith by opening your heart and mind to becoming a believer in Christ. I am not excluding people who do not believe in Jesus but actually doing quite the opposite. Prior to turning 27 years old, I believed in nothing but science and myself. I could bring any Christian to tears while trying to talk them out of being a believer. What’s beautiful is that it was God Himself who brought me to my knees and guided me to a transitioning decision to continue in life. I believe there is nothing more powerful I can do for others than welcome them to God’s work.

When someone consistently accuses their spouse of infidelity despite no recent or real evidence of cheating, we're often looking at a complex psychological framework built on deep-seated insecurities and past wounds. Let's examine the psychological makeup of such an accuser. At the core of these accusations lies an intricate web of attachment issues, typically rooted in childhood experiences. The accuser often grew up in an environment where trust was broken repeatedly – perhaps by witnessing parental infidelity, experiencing abandonment, or dealing with unreliable caregivers. These early experiences created a template for future relationships: expect betrayal before it happens. The brain of a chronic accuser operates on high alert, similar to someone with post-traumatic stress disorder. Every late night at work, every friendly conversation with a colleague, every slight delay in responding to texts becomes potential evidence of infidelity. This hypervigilance stems from an overactive threat-detection system, where the brain has learned to scan constantly for signs of abandonment or betrayal. Interestingly, these accusations often serve as a self-protective mechanism.
